The Walker House For Sale in Sydney

For all the readers that are looking to buy a beautiful home and have $10 million AUD in their bank accounts or can get a loan for that, I advise you to take a look at the Walker House, in Sydeney, Australia. In an exclusive and tranquil neighborhood located at 20 Lentara Rd, Bayview Heights, the $9.7 million USD (or €6.1 million) house packs 4 extremely modern bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 3 garages and one lovely inground pool.

What got my attention? The modern architecture, the vast ceiling spaces and the huge outdoor sliding glass that makes it look like a part of nature, plus the fact that it uses underfloor heating. Oh did I mention the 8 person outdoor spa? Guess not.

If these things aren’t enough for that money, then here comes the cavalry: a championship lawn tennis court, cinema, smart home technology, more than 1 acre of manicured grounds, reverse cycle air conditioning, split-faced travertine and lots of terraces and recreation spaces.

It’s a dream home. I wish it would be mine … Don’t you?

This swimming pool designed by Heri&Salli is the most interesting and modern swimming pool project that I’ve ever saw, and it was designed to create and continue a kind of landscape character that includes different functions and tasks. The six stripes line up on each other and take over different functions around the swimming pool like seats or couch surfaces or tables or a roof that offers view-protection to the neighbors. A fragmentary strip as a ramp has the task of leading to the lawn. - Photos by Paul Ott - Via - 1, 2

I love the power that technology offer us in these days. For example take a look at this wireless floating pool speaker. If you have a pool and you want to listen to music while you get wet and relax you can take a look at this interesting idea … a water-resistant floating speaker brings your playlist right next to you in the water. I never thought at something like this, but I’m glad that other people figured out how to make this idea possible. The new Wireless Floating Pool Speaker transmits music directly from the iPod to the pool speaker. The speakers include a 3.5mm AUX cable with an AC adapter and are compatible with all iPod models. The powerful 915MHz system comes in the form of two speakers with full rage sound so that you can relax and enjoy right in the middle of the pool. The speaker can be purchased from here for $129.95.

South Africa architectural design company Peerutin Architects created a 550m² a super-luxury villa named the Camps Bay. The villa has exceptional views, spacious living areas and patios, merging with a private, peaceful garden and sparkling pool. This villa is characterized by clean and nice lines, and I can say that I love the pool. - Via - Belowtheclouds

Grand Grand Splatch Rug is an interesting idea for a rug. This rug was designed with the idea to imitate an indoor pool with a concrete edge and a large splash effect but the only maintenance it requires is a good vacuuming every so often. If you want to make it look more real you can add a few yellow rubber ducks, thtat will seem to float on this rug. The vailability or pricing for this rug are not known yet, but you can contact the people from MAAD, and who knows maybe they will be able to help you. -Via - Ohgizmo!
